Climate Justice "forward dreaming" presentation
In this presentation, with support of a fellow student -for time efficiency and technical support- I will be presenting to a group of university students in The University of British Columbia, the intersectionality of climate justice with youth intrapeneurship and participation in active institutions that already engage with climate advocacy. The intention of this presentation is to connect the ideas learnt in the class content, regarding principles of climate justice, including the canadian background and the progress in the history of the climate movement, while expanding on the opportunities available for student activists to engage with The Climate Reality Project, showing the evidence of past achievements and prospects for the future. This is a compact presentation due to class requirements, hence the priority is to show the most relevant information in our interests, while respecting the standards of the organization and inviting students to look into the opportunities in the Climate Reality Leaders Corps training, and in other resources available for the future.
