Earth-Day in October

People around the world are joining together to understand climate change and the many solutions to it.

TED Talks is launching: “Countdown to a Better Future”, a year long initiative to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis. Climate Reality is working in coordination with TED to host 3,000 community presentations around the world in the 24 hours following TED’s 4 hour launch.

We are fortunate to have our own zoom event with Climate Reality Leader, Bill Keydel. Bill promises to give you current information and balance review of the problem with solutions (weighting in favor of solutions; there are so many). Bill, a long time member of our church, brings a practitioner’s consciousness to the topic. It is so important to remember that even here, God is at work and we are moving to a greater good.

We’ll be looking at the environmental trends, challenges, and progress unique to Colorado.  There are literally 100s of solutions to the climate crisis, and many are being developed in our backyard.
